Warrior Women

My Final Major Project for University is about highlighting powerful women in history. I chose a variety of women from different countries and eras to learn about and to create illustrations from their stories.

For each woman I created their illustrations with their own colour palette, and gave them their own title font that I felt fit with them. To add dimension to the paintings and give them historical and cultural dimension I incorporated patterns on the fabric of the women's clothes or in the backgrounds.
